Experience amazing bouldering in Bath! Perfect for beginners, these four-hour sessions with an instructor will teach you the fundamentals of bouldering at this scenic outdoor location. The vouchers are valid for two people. Located just outside Bath, this unique spot is famous within the climbing community for its stunning limestone boulders. These large rock formations are perfect for bouldering, a form of free climbing on rocks that are close to the ground. While you may have tried bouldering indoors or at the gym, outdoor bouldering offers a completely different experience, especially at such a special location, so close to Bath. Gully Woods and Sally in the Woods provide a tranquil and secluded setting for your adventure. These sessions follow a ‘leave no trace’ philosophy, meaning that everything you bring—personal belongings, bouldering mats, chalk, rock shoes, etc.—must be taken back with you. Throughout the morning, you'll be guided through the basics of bouldering, including technique, problem-solving, and the importance of spotting for your climbing partner. You’ll also learn how to properly place and use the essential bouldering mats. By the end of this session, you'll have a solid understanding of the basics of bouldering—and who knows, it might just become your new favorite outdoor activity!
