The Gyrocopter is quite possibly not an aircraft that aerial adrenaline junkies are familiar with yet. But trust us, you will be soon enough! Sitting somewhere between a microlight and a helicopter, these rotary-wing aircrafts - also known as autogyros - are unique in that they're open air, and have a free spinning rotor, powered on an engine-driven propeller.
And it's because of this unusual configuration that means it's incredibly responsive up in the air whilst also being stable and - being open to the elements as it is - is also not short on the rush of excitement and nerves it will provide as you either fly in it or fly it yourself!
Extreme Gyrocopter Lessons
You can learn to fly a gyrocopter on a number of different packages we offer, with lessons varying in lengths from 30 minutes all the way up to 60 minutes.
You'll be learning under an expert gyro pilot and instructor, who upon arrival at the venue will take you through a full safety briefing and will get you familiar with where the controls are, and how to fly the gyro, but also to boost and bring out your confidence once airborne.
What's also good about them is that gyrocopters are dual-controlled, so that means if you're feeling daring enough, you can have a go at flying it yourself, safe in the knowledge that the instructor can easily take control if you need a bit of assistance or guidance.
