About the experience
Take the wheel for an adrenaline-fueled skid control session at Tockwith Driving Centre near York! We're offering two-hour private training vouchers, giving you exclusive time on the track to master the art of car control. Guided by a team of highly experienced drivers—many of whom are ARDS or BARS qualified and seasoned in racing and rallying—you’ll learn firsthand how to handle oversteer and understeer like a pro. Your training takes place in a standard car, such as a BMW 3 Series, without hydraulic cradles—this is real-world skid control on Tockwith Motor Sports’ specially designed low-grip skid pan. Before hitting the track, you'll dive into the theory of skidding in a classroom session. You’ll gain essential knowledge on front-wheel, rear-wheel, and all-wheel skids, as well as crucial handling techniques for spin control, oversteer, and understeer. Then, it’s time to put your skills to the test. Getting the car to skid? That’s easy. Regaining control? Not so much! You’ll quickly realize that the steering wheel has a mind of its own, and with a manual transmission, you’ll need to keep your cool to avoid stalling. Ready to take on the challenge? This is your chance to develop real driving skills in a fun, high-energy environment!

Itinerary
