Rock climbing is perfect for those who enjoy a challenge and get a buzz from tackling heights. It will test your fitness as well as your ability to work as a team. This introductory session will teach you the basics and leave you with an appetite to perhaps take this up as a new hobby.
Upon arrival you will be greeted by your friendly instructor, who will conduct a full safety briefing, fit you in to your harness and helmets before ascending on the upwards climb.
You will feel at ease in the safe hands of a professional rock climbing instructor who will teach you various climbing techniques throughout your session and show you how to belay to scale the wall. The instructor will also give you advice on your technique as well as the best tips to improve your new found skills.
Please note, you will be required to fill out a medical disclosure and health and safety form prior to the day which you will need to take with you on the day of your experience to be able to participate.
All participants must be in reasonable health and able bodied, all participants climb at the discretion of the instructor. The maximum weight is 114 kg (18st).
Minimum age is 7 years old, under 18s need parental consent & need to be accompanied by an adult.
This experience is available on selected midweek and weekend dates, from March to November.
