About the experience
You two will have the finest seats in the house as you sit side by side in the cockpits of two historic Tiger Moths that are simultaneously in the air. Two beautiful vintage Tiger Moth aircraft will be waiting for their passengers on the apron at Bicester Heritage Aerodrome - you'll be prepared for takeoff once you're securely aboard. Flying in formation requires a great level of competence. You need to work together, communicate well, and coordinate in order to securely occupy the same airspace. Because of this, the pilots on these formation Tiger Moth flights are the finest around. Information
- Spectators are welcome to watch the take off and landing
- Flying season is generally from late-April to the end of October
- Flights generally operate Monday to Thursday with one weekend date per week
- Normal flying time are between 10:30-16:00
- All flights are weather dependent but don't worry if your flight is cancelled you can rebook for a convenient time
Minimum Age: 14 years
- Minimum age 14
- Under 18s must be accompanied on the airfield by an adult
- Maximum weight limit is 18 stone
- Height restrictions: minimum 4ft 11ins, maximum 6ft 7ins
- You need to be agile enough to climb in and out of the aircraft
