About the experience
The Castaway Challenge is a fun way to test your survival skills. The challenge is split into 3 sections, the first being making it to dry land after being ‘shipwrecked’. To get to safety you will have to wild swim, climb and coasteer along the coast to get to the cove. Once there your instructors will teach you the basics of survival with bushcraft, identifying wildlife and foraging before cooking on the open fire. Your last part of the challenge is escaping the cove. You will have to locate the raft (super SUP) and work as a team to get on board and launch back to shore. The challenge lasts around 2 hours where you will get to grips with your new survival skills. Even when being ‘shipwrecked’ you will have time to soak in the beautiful Cornish coastline surrounding you.

Challenge One:
- After being 'shipwrecked' you'll need to make it to dry land
- Experience wild swimming in the sea, climbing and traversing along rocks, riding the natural rapid and diving into plunge pools
Challenge Two:
- Learn how to use survival and bushcraft skills to 'survive' on the cove
- Forage, collect materials to build a fire and learn to identify local wildlife
Challenge Three:
- Time to escape the cove
- Locate your super SUP 'life raft' and work as a team to launch and land your raft.
- Perform paddle strokes standing up and kneeling down to navigate the coastline back to shore.

Information
- Minimum age 8
- Under 16s must be accompanied by a participating adult
- The castaway challenge requires a basic level of fitness
- You must be able to swim a minimum of 50 metres and be confident in the water
- Selected weekdays and weekends throughout the year
- Experiences start at 9 am or 1 pm, subject to tide times
- This experience runs in most weather conditions; you will be notified in advance if there are any changes to your booking
Location:

Minimum Age: 8 years
- You will need to bring a pair of lace-up trainers with hard soles (if you don't have a pair of trainers you can hire some for a small hire charge on the day)
- You will need to bring swimwear underneath the wetsuit and a towel
- A lock box for valuables and clothes storage, heated changing rooms, showers, and toilets are all available to use on-site
- Spectators are welcome to watch via a short, easily accessible walk from the activity centre
