About the experience
Experience what it’s like to fly this century’s most lethal fighter jet in the world. Set to be the primary attack aircraft for the next three decades as flown by RAF pilots, this simulator session is the closest civilians can get to understanding these incredible planes. The F-35B simulator offers you the chance to get to know these fighter jets as you choose from a range of flying scenarios, airports to fly to or even ships where you can take off and land. Based at Mildenhall in Suffolk, this centre has the only sim of this kind and it makes perfect sense as this town has a rich military history having been an RAF base for years. When you arrive, you’ll soon realise this and that all the instructors on sight have clocked up the years with the RAF and are passionate about offering people a realistic experience. Despite it being an imperative job in the modern world, most of us know very little about what it’s like to be a modern combat fighter pilot, but luckily, this experience brings it to life in allowing us to experience what these jets have the power to do. With short take offs and vertical landings on the menu, it will be hard not to realise just how formidable these planes are. If you’re curious to learn more about these mystery jets and how they fly, this is the perfect simulator for you.

- Participants will require a good degree of mobility, balance and coordination

- One person may accompany you in the simulator as a spectator for no additional charge (standing room only)
- There is a waiting area for additional people (maximum of 4) must be pre-booked
- Simulator experiences are available throughout the year
- Choose from a weekday only voucher available Tuesdays to Fridays or to include Saturdays opt for an anytime voucher
- Sessions are available between 9am and 5pm
- This is a fixed base/ static simulator and does not move
