The Brief

Prepare to make the list of a select few to have visited the bottom of the world.

Here is the chance of a lifetime to make an excursion to the South Pole. You will depart from from Southern Chile and fly to Patriot Hills, the base camp in the heart of Antarctica where you will stay, landing on its blue ice runway. From there you will fly on to the geographic pole, absorbing the view of a truly natural, pure and unspoiled landscape that only a handful of people have laid their eyes on.

Itinerary

  • Fly in a IL-76 or Hercules from Punta Arenas in Chile to Patriot Hills.
  • You will sleep in insulated tents and there is a separate kitchen and dining area.
  • A range of optional activities are available.
  • From here you will fly on, in a ski-equipped Twin Otter to the South Pole.
  • There will also be a brief visit to the US science base with its unique gift shop.
